Reporting the Chief Product and Customer Officer and a key member of the Customer Success team, the Customer Success Manager is responsible for ensuring that Powerley’s integrated hardware and software solution is effectively deployed with our utility customers, and achieves their program and business objectives.  This role requires substantial direct interaction with customer-side implementation and business teams, managing relationships and project schedules. The Customer Success Manager will be the one ultimately responsible to ensure the program is delivered within the defined scope, schedule, and budget.

The successful applicant will…

  • Execute strong client leadership and project management to ensure delivery of the Powerley solution is executed effectively
  • Work cooperatively with utility customers to deliver consistent operational procedures and deliver an efficient and effective overall delivery schedule
  • Support active feedback between customer implementation learnings and the Powerley product development team to drive product improvements
  • Interface with outsourced customer service and support group, as required to ensure customer issues in the field are resolved
  • Demonstrate strong project and program management skills
  • Partner effectively with utility program management, customer support, marketing/corporate communications and technical teams to deliver
  • Have the ability to recognize potential risk areas and implement mitigation plans for issues that arise in the implementation or program operations
  • Demonstrate ability to take ownership of issues, to initiate actions, and to make effective decisions
  • Have strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Understand program success metrics, ensuring business objectives and all KPI’s are reported on and met
  • Have the ability to manage external and internal relationships, including serving as the representative of the client’s needs with the internal team members

 Requirements

  • 3+ years’ project experience in software, management consulting or internal project delivery; project management a plus
  • Availability for overnight travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 50% for some projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or engineering
  • Experience working in a high growth, high change environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Even Better

  • Master’s degree in a business-related field or engineering
  • Software project management and mobile app delivery experience a plus
  • Experience with analytics tools and capability of conducting deep-dive program performance analysis and reporting
