Last week at CES 2017, I was invited by TechCrunch to participate in a panel discussion about Detroit’s burgeoning tech culture. Along with Jake Sigal (Tome Software) and Itai Ben-Gal (iRule), we talked about the amazing passion and talent that’s driving innovation in the Motor City. Plus, we dove into the entrepreneurial environment that been a catalyst for start-ups across segments: automotive, financial, smart home, and more.
We are accelerating innovation and engaging our customers in a new relationship with energy
Dividing my time between the Bay Area and Detroit, I believe I offered a unique perspective to the panel discussion. Spending much of my career in the Valley with tech companies, I’ve been impressed with talent and the excitement around innovation in the Detroit ecosystem. For us, the potential of “One Detroit” is very exciting, and I’m happy that Powerley is partaking in the tech renaissance that is underway.
